Mekanisme penyerahan kasus antar institusi penegak hukum sudah diatur dalam UU No 30 Tahun 2002 tentang KPK. Setelah instruksi presiden kemarin, maka Polri bisa langsung menyerahkan kasus simulator SIM kepada KPK.
